COLFAX, La. (UrbanCast: 6/9/2026) — Colfax Mayor-Elect Timika Price was arrested following a traffic stop, according to records from the Rapides Parish inmate inquiry system.
Price, who won the Colfax mayoral election in May, was booked during the early morning hours of Tuesday. Records show she was later released.
According to information obtained from the Rapides Parish Sheriff’s Office, the Louisiana State Police was the arresting agency.
Booking records show Price was charged with operating a vehicle while intoxicated, first offense, and improper lane usage.
All persons are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
