Alexandria, LA (1/4/2023) – According to the Alexandria Police Department (APD), at approximately 09:25 PM, APD was dispatched to the Burger King Restaurant at 1207 MacArthur Drive about a person being shot. Â
Upon Officers’ arrival, they discovered a 19-year-old male inside the business that had been shot in the abdomen.  Medical personnel arrived shortly and took the victim to a local hospital, where he was treated for his wounds and is now in stable condition. Â
Alexandria Detectives interviewed the victim, the alleged shooter, and other witnesses to the incident.  This is an ongoing investigation, with possible arrests being made in the future pending further investigation.              Â
