ALEXANDRIA, LA (4/13/2025) — Multiple law enforcement units responded Sunday afternoon to East Sycamore Street in Alexandria following reports of shots fired.
A heavy police presence remains in the area, including tactical teams and marked patrol units. Officers have blocked off the street as part of their investigation.
Nearby residents reported hearing multiple rounds of gunfire. An official with the Alexandria Police Department confirmed the incident is believed to be isolated, with no ongoing threat to public safety.
