DALLAS, Tx. (11/24/2024) – Bishop T.D. Jakes suffered an apparent medical emergency during Sunday’s service at The Potter’s House of Dallas.
The incident occurred as Jakes led a closing prayer. Video from the church’s livestream showed him pausing and lowering his microphone. Several individuals quickly assisted him on stage, and the livestream ended shortly after.
In a statement on X (formerly Twitter), The Potter’s House confirmed, “Bishop T.D. Jakes experienced a slight health incident and received immediate medical attention following his powerful hour-long message.”
The church also assured the community that Jakes is stable and under medical care. They expressed gratitude for the overwhelming prayers, love, and support from members and followers worldwide.
