Alexandria Police Investigate Death of Local Man on Loblolly Lane

Alexandria, LA (July 26, 2024) – The Alexandria Police Department is investigating the death of 20-year-old Kentriel Girtley, who was found deceased from a gunshot wound on the 2500 block of Loblolly Lane late Thursday night.

On July 25, 2024, at approximately 10:51 PM, officers responded to a call regarding an individual who was discovered deceased at the location. Upon arrival, they found Girtley, a resident of Alexandria, LA, already dead. Preliminary reports suggest that foul play is not suspected.

The incident is currently under investigation, and authorities are seeking the public’s assistance in gathering more information.
