Pineville, LA (4/23/2023) – Rapides Parish Sheriff’s Office reported at approximately 12:42 PM today Officers with the Pineville Police Department responded to a residence in the 2900 block of LA Highway 107, Pineville, LA in reference to a suspected domestic disturbance call.
Initial information indicates that upon officers arrival, an altercation with the suspect occurred which resulted in the Officers discharging their weapons and the suspect being shot and is deceased.
Pineville Chief of Police Darrell Basco has requested the Rapides Parish Sheriff’s Office to investigate this incident. Sheriff’s Detectives and Crime Scene Investigators are on scene processing evidence and conducting interviews.
