Baton Rouge, LA (4/17/2023) – Baton Rouge Police Department (BRPD) Homicide Detectives are investigating the fatal shooting of Kerisha Johnson, 36, and her unborn child that occurred around 12:30 am this morning in the 1000 block of North Carrollton Avenue.
Johnson was shot while attempting to pick up partygoers from a party located in the North Carrollton area. Johnson died at the scene.
BRPD Detectives arrested and booked Marques Porch, 19, Gregory Parker, 19, and Derrick Curry, 19, into East Baton Rouge Parish Prison for 2nd Degree Murder and 1st Degree Feticide.
This is an ongoing investigation.
