Clouds will decrease through the day in the wake of a cold front early this morning. Gusty northerly winds will bring drier and cooler conditions into the region, with highs this afternoon in the lower to middle 70s.
Clear and dry conditions are expected tonight as high pressure builds over the region. North to northwest winds will diminish during the evening. The combination of light winds and dry air will allow temperatures to plummet into the middle to upper 40s across much of the area, with temperatures in the lower 50s near the coast.
High pressure moving over the region will provide nice and seasonable conditions. Winds will be light and variable as the high centers over the region. Skies will be mostly sunny, with a few high clouds spreading into the area during the afternoon. Highs are expected to reach the middle and upper 70s.
