Alexandria, LA (4/5/2023) – Truevine has been blown up on its axis after the members selected a new pastor that the leaders who ran the church did not want.
UrbanCast and involvedinitall.com sat down and spoke with Mrs. Stephanie Jackson, a member of Truevine for over 58 years, retired – RN, and Former Director of the LPN Nursing Program at CLTCC.
It remains to be seen how the recent majority vote will be considered by the 9th Judicial Court when it renders its opinion or ruling.
In an interesting tidbit, Former Mayor Jeff Hall of Alexandria and several other former leaders of the church were removed after refusing to follow the first two votes of the people. Also, the pastor named by former leaders, Rev. Leslie Draper, III, current Mayor of the Town of Simmesport, Louisiana, was categorically rejected by the membership on Sunday, April 2, 2023.
