Shreveport, LA (3/7/2023) – Shreveport Police Department (SPD) reported on March 2, 2022, Officers were contacted about a report of a violent attack on a woman in the 2400 Block of Highland Avenue.
The victim was transported to a local area hospital and was unresponsive. Due to the severity of the injuries, SPD Violent Crimes Unit was notified.
SPD Detectives found that the young woman had been severely beaten and was in critical condition. Detectives identified Brandon Lindsey, 33, as the male responsible for the violent attack.
On March 3rd, 2023, SPD Violent Crimes detectives located Brandon Lindsey and arrested him for one count of Attempted Second Degree Murder and warrants from other jurisdictions.
The victim is still currently in critical condition.
