Friday’s Weather (3/3/2023)

A Wind Advisory is in effect from now until noon today. Sustained southwest-to-west winds at 20 to 25 MPH with gusts up to 40 MPH are expected through the morning. These gusty winds could blow around unsecured objects, and a few tree limbs may be blown down. Also, driving may become difficult, especially for high-profile vehicles. Winds are expected to diminish in the afternoon.

A much drier and somewhat cooler air mass will move in behind a departing cold front that will end rain chances. Brisk west to northwest winds around 15 to 25 mph with gusts over 30 mph will decrease to 10 to 20 mph in the afternoon. Skies will become mostly sunny with high temperatures in the lower 70s.

High pressure will build in with mostly clear skies and light north winds at 5 to 10 mph. Low temperatures will be in the mid-40s to near 50, except mid-50s along the coast.

Sunny, with a high near 75. North wind around five mph.
