This morning, showers and thunderstorms will continue moving eastward across our Louisiana parishes. Most of the activity should have moved east of the area by noon. The potential remains for areas of heavy rainfall, mainly near or over the Atchafalaya Basin, with an additional inch of rain possible. The severe threat appears to be done.
This afternoon, showers and thunderstorms will end over the Atchafalaya Basin, with maybe a light shower or two lagging into the evening. Otherwise, it will remain cloudy. Temperatures will be a little cooler, with highs generally in the upper 60s or lower 70s. Winds will become northerly at around five mph.
Tonight, look for fog development overnight, with dense fog possible at times along and south of Interstate 10. Otherwise, cloudy and cooler conditions will continue. Lows in the lower or mid-50s are expected. Winds will be light and from the north.
