Colorado Springs, Co. (11/20/2022) – Five people were killed and eighteen injured in a shooting at a gay nightclub Saturday, November 19, 2022, according to Colorado Springs Police Department.
Anderson Lee Aldrich was identified as the suspect.
According to Colorado Springs Lieutenant Pamela Castro, Aldrich is in custody and was being treated for injuries after the attack at Club Q. Castro also said police got the initial phone call just before midnight about the shooting,
The nightclub posted the following message on its Facebook Page:
“Club Q is devastated by the senseless attack on our community.
Our prays and thoughts are with all the victims and their families and friends.
We thank the quick reactions of heroic customers that subdued the gunman and ended this hate attack.”
