Alexandria, La. (11/19/2022) – Alexandria Fire Department (AFD) battled a structure fire on Chicago Street early Saturday, November 19, 2022.
Firefighters arrived on the scene to find a house engulfed in flames in the 3100 block of Chicago Street.
Officials say the blaze broke out around 3:30 am and was under control shortly thereafter.
AFD and Rapides Parish Fire Department quickly got control of the fire. Standard fire protocols were performed to complete the extinguishment.
No injuries were reported.
