Lockesburg, Ark. (11/12/2022) – On November 7th, 2022, deputies with the Sevier County Sheriff’s Office (SCSO) took a report regarding a baby being born at home in Lockesburg. After further investigation, it was discovered that the baby did not live and was disposed of.
Deputies and Investigators with the Sevier County Sheriff’s Office located the male baby in a nearby dumpster. The mother of the baby boy is a 17-year-old female. The father, Matthew Hallmark, is also believed to be involved.
Both, the mother and Hallmark are currently being held for Abuse of a corpse pending an autopsy at the Arkansas State Crime Lab and further investigation.
