Ascension Parish, LA. (10/2/2022) – According to the Ascension Parish Sheriff’s Office (APSO), a high-ranking deputy was stopped and arrested by Louisiana State Troopers (LSP) early Sunday, October 2, 2022, for DWI.
Captain TJ Gaughf, was stopped around 12:15 am on Airline Highway. Gaughf was charged with first offense DWI, his BAC (blood alcohol concentration) registered .15.
According to APSO, Gaughf has been suspended indefinitely, pending an investigation.
