UrbanCast: September 29, 2026 — Acadian Companies recently welcomed the Louisiana Department of Veterans Affairs (LDVA) to its Lafayette headquarters to honor 19 veteran employees with Louisiana Honor Medals, letters from Louisiana Governor Jeff Landry, and challenge coins in appreciation of their military service and continued commitment to serving others.
The recognition brought together veteran employees representing several divisions under Acadian Companies, including Acadian Ambulance, Acadian Total Security, Safety Management Systems, and Acadian Air Med.
Louisiana Secretary of Veterans Affairs Charlton J. Meginley, Deputy Secretary Dr. Jerome Buller, and Executive Assistant Miracle Williams participated in the ceremony, helping honor and celebrate Acadian’s veteran employees.
Acadian Ambulance President Justin Back addressed the gathering, recognizing the veterans’ service and highlighting the continued commitment to service demonstrated by Acadian employees throughout the organization.
“We are grateful to the Louisiana Department of Veterans Affairs for taking the time to recognize our veteran employees and celebrate their service,” said Back. “Their commitment to serving others continues long after their military service, and we see that commitment every day throughout Acadian.”
