Alexandria, La. (UrbanCast: 9/22/2026) — Rapides Parish sheriff’s detectives are asking for help locating an Alexandria woman accused of using fraudulent identification at a local bank.
The investigation began Monday, September 14, after patrol deputies received an identity theft complaint.
According to RPSO, a person entered a local bank and allegedly impersonated an account holder. Investigators said the person presented fraudulent identification while attempting to withdraw money from the victim’s account.
However, bank employees became suspicious and refused the transaction. They then contacted the account holder, who reported the incident to RPSO.
Patrol deputies completed the initial report. The case was then assigned to the RPSO Criminal Investigations Division.
During the investigation, detectives identified the suspect as Angie Tennille Wester, 50, of Alexandria, according to RPSO.
Detectives said they developed probable cause supporting the allegations. On September 17, they obtained arrest warrants for Wester.
She is wanted on charges of bank fraud and unlawful production, manufacturing, distribution or possession of fraudulent documents for identification purposes.
Wester had not been located at the time of the RPSO release.
