Alexandria, La. (5/5/2026) – The Better Business Bureau has announced the nominees for the 2026 Torch Awards, recognizing businesses and nonprofits across Central Louisiana. The awards highlight organizations that demonstrate strong ethics, leadership, and trust within the community.
The Torch Awards focus on companies that build trust with employees, customers, and the public. In turn, the recognition aligns with the BBB’s mission to promote integrity in the marketplace. Organizers say the award reflects a commitment to ethical practices and accountability.
To qualify, nominees must operate within the BBB service area and maintain a satisfactory record. However, past winners within the last two years are not eligible. Government agencies also do not qualify. Notably, businesses do not need BBB accreditation to be nominated.
