LAFAYETTE, La. (4/30/2026) – A Lafayette high school principal has been placed on administrative leave following a policy violation, according to officials.
James Rollins, principal of Northside High School, was removed from his position after rapper Lil’ Boosie visited the campus without LPSS approval. However, officials have not released additional details.
A spokesperson for the Lafayette Parish School System confirmed Rollins is on leave but declined further comment, citing a personnel matter.
Rollins was named principal in June 2024.
