Louisiana (3/2/2026) – Online child exploitation arrests in Northwest Louisiana resulted in three men facing felony charges following a coordinated law enforcement operation. Louisiana Attorney General Liz Murrill announced the arrests as part of a joint effort across several parishes.
The Natchitoches Parish Sheriff’s Office hosted the operation. Investigators targeted individuals who used online platforms to seek sexual contact with juveniles. Law enforcement officers identified suspects communicating with minors on social media. Authorities later located and arrested them.
Several agencies partnered in the operation. Those agencies included the Louisiana Bureau of Investigation, Natchitoches Parish Sheriff’s Office, Bossier Parish Sheriff’s Office, Ouachita Parish Sheriff’s Office, Webster Parish Sheriff’s Office, and the Shreveport Police Department.
Authorities arrested 35-year-old Edwin Roberts II of Highway 6 East in Natchitoches. He faces one count of indecent behavior with a juvenile under LA R.S. 14:81. He also faces one count of computer aided solicitation of a minor under LA R.S. 14:81.3.
Investigators also arrested 24-year-old Garrett Godejohn of Highway 6 East in Natchitoches. He faces one count of possession of child sexual abuse material under LA R.S. 14:81.1. In addition, he faces one count of sexual abuse of an animal under LA R.S. 14:89.3.
Authorities arrested 35-year-old David Lee Clark of Peyton Street in Shreveport. He faces one count of indecent behavior with a juvenile. He also faces one count of computer aided solicitation of a minor.
The Natchitoches Parish Sheriff’s Office arrested Roberts and Godejohn, who lived together. Deputies booked both men into the Natchitoches Parish Detention Center. Officials have not released bond information.
Meanwhile, the Shreveport Police Department arrested Clark. Officers booked him into the Shreveport City Jail. His bond remains unknown at this time.
Attorney General Murrill said her office will continue proactive operations. She emphasized collaboration through the Louisiana Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force. Furthermore, she thanked each partnering agency for its commitment and coordination.
Authorities expect additional charges. The investigation remains ongoing.
