Alexandria, La. (2/25/2026) – A Bolton Avenue fire in Alexandria prompted a large emergency response early Wednesday morning.
UrbanCast received multiple reports of a fire on Bolton Avenue near the intersection of Jackson Street at approximately 12:34 a.m. on Wednesday, February 25, 2026. Witnesses reported seeing heavy smoke and flames coming from a structure in the area.
Multiple Fire units responded to the scene. Fire engines lined both sides of the roadway as crews worked under thick smoke conditions. Emergency lights illuminated the corridor while firefighters stretched hoses toward the burning building.
Several residents in the area reported hearing sirens and seeing smoke visible from blocks away. At least one portion of Bolton Avenue appeared to be temporarily blocked as first responders secured the scene.
The extent of the damage and whether there were any injuries has not yet been confirmed..
