Alexandria, LA (1/7/2026) — The Rapides Parish Coroner’s Office has identified the victim who died following a Laurel Street house fire.
Officials confirmed that Bruce Keith, 43, of Alexandria, succumbed to injuries sustained in the fire on January 5, 2025.
Emergency crews responded to the residential fire and transported Keith to a local hospital for treatment. Despite medical efforts, he later died from the severity of his injuries. Fire investigators previously determined the fire originated from an electrical issue.
