Alexandria, LA (12/13/2025) — This is an update regarding Friday night’s homicide investigation.
Earlier today, Alexandria Police stated that a homicide suspect had been arrested.
Details surrounding the arrest were not provided.
Around 1:00 p.m., a family member contacted UrbanCast with new information.
They stated Jorion Henderson turned himself in without incident.
According to the family, they coordinated the surrender with APD Detective Delaney.
They said the surrender occurred around 10:15 a.m.
The family stated Henderson made no statements.
Authorities immediately booked him into the Rapides Parish Detention Center.
UrbanCast contacted Alexandria Police for confirmation.
No response has been received at this time.
According to the Rapides Parish Sheriff’s Office inmate inquiry system, Henderson remains in custody.
His bond is set at $1,000,000.
The system lists one charge of second-degree murder.
No additional charges are listed.
