2025 Women in Business Conference Empowers Central Louisiana’s Female Leaders

Alexandria, La. (11/2/2025) – The Central Louisiana Regional Chamber of Commerce hosted the 2025 Women in Business Conference, a two-day event held October 30–31, 2025, at the Alexandria Convention Center.

More than 250 business professionals, entrepreneurs, and community leaders gathered to celebrate women shaping the region’s economic and professional future.

An Inspiring Kickoff Reception

The kickoff reception, sponsored by Louisiana Central, launched the 2025 Women in Business Conference presented by RoyOMartin with unmatched energy, connection, and inspiration. Attendees filled the room with excitement and enthusiasm, setting the stage for two powerful days of learning and leadership.

Reception speaker Valerie Verzwyvelt, owner of Mama V’s Candies and TikTok sensation, shared her story of passion, perseverance, and the sweet rewards of following your dreams. Her journey from local entrepreneur to viral success reminded everyone that hard work and authenticity can open doors to unexpected opportunities.

When women come together to learn, lead, and lift each other up, the entire business community grows stronger, and the kickoff reception perfectly reflected that spirit.

A Two-Day Celebration of Leadership and Growth

The conference continued Friday with keynote sessions, panels, and networking opportunities focused on leadership, entrepreneurship, and professional development. Deborah Randolph, President of the Central Louisiana Regional Chamber of Commerce, said the conference provided an opportunity to celebrate the stellar contributions of women in the community. “This year’s presenters highlighted economic development, entrepreneurship, leadership, and self-care,” she said.

Sessions such as “The Prescription for Power: Vital Signs of Women Who Lead A.L.O.T.” and “Rooted in Why – Growing Beyond What We Believe is Possible” inspired attendees to lead with purpose and confidence. Leadership coach Darienne Mobley closed the event with “Dare to Choose Happy,” encouraging women to lead with authenticity and joy.

Throughout both days, participants connected through breakout sessions and an expo featuring local businesses and women-owned enterprises. The atmosphere reflected collaboration, motivation, and the continued growth of women leaders across Central Louisiana.
