TANGIPAHOA PARISH, LA (5/3/2025) – A plane crash in Tangipahoa Parish injured two people Saturday afternoon near B Sanders Road in Kentwood.
The Tangipahoa Parish Sheriff’s Office (TPSO) confirmed the small plane went down in a wooded area around 5:30 p.m.
First responders from Kentwood Fire and TPSO quickly reached the scene. Photos show emergency crews working among dense trees and debris.
The plane had two passengers. The male passenger suffered moderate to severe injuries. The female passenger sustained minor injuries.
Both passengers were alert when located and were transported for medical treatment. Air Med services assisted with the response.
The plane crash in Tangipahoa Parish remains under investigation. Authorities have not released the cause of the crash.
