PINEVILLE, La. (3/21/2025) – A 17-year-old Pineville teen arrested Thursday faces charges of possessing 100 counts of child pornography involving juveniles.
Attorney General Liz Murrill’s Louisiana Bureau of Investigation arrested William Hunter Coyle on March 20, 2025.
The arrest occurred on Point Clair Road in Carville, Louisiana, resulting from a joint investigation by multiple law enforcement agencies. These agencies include the Louisiana Bureau of Investigation Cyber Crime Unit, Homeland Security Investigations, and the Rapides Parish Sheriff’s Office.
Coyle, a resident of Old Marksville Hwy in Pineville, is charged under Louisiana Revised Statute 14:81.1. This statute addresses felony possession of pornography involving juveniles under the age of 13.

Authorities booked Coyle into the Iberville Parish Jail, where Judge Elizabeth Engolio set his bond at $500,000.
The investigation remains ongoing, and additional charges may follow. Under Louisiana law, each count carries penalties of up to 20 years imprisonment.
