ALEXANDRIA, La. (3/16/2025) – The Alexandria Chapter of Jack and Jill of America, Inc. celebrated an evening of elegance, achievement, and tradition last night at its 57th Annual Cotillion, where Grace Brown was crowned the 2025 Queen.
A night filled with grace and excellence, the ball honored young women for their outstanding academic achievements, leadership, and community involvement. Grace, the daughter of James Crockett and Latanya Brown, shined as she received the prestigious title, a testament to her remarkable dedication and accomplishments throughout the year.
Grace’s list of achievements is nothing short of extraordinary. A senior at Alexandria Senior High School, she was crowned Homecoming Queen, served as captain of the Troy Dolls dance line, and held the title of Miss Alexandria Senior High. She has also demonstrated strong leadership as senior vice president of her class, all while excelling in track and field and being an active member of organizations such as Legacy 1-4 and the Freshman Mentor Program. Additionally, she showcases her passion for dance through her involvement with JustDance Dance Company and Alexandria Senior High Theatre Program.
Her parents, James Crockett and Latanya Brown, beamed with pride as she accepted the honor, recognizing her hard work and dedication both in and out of the classroom. Her grandmother, the family matriarch, Mrs. Esther Brown, also expressed her joy and admiration for her granddaughter’s success. “She was a queen from the beginning,” Mrs. Brown said, reflecting on Grace’s lifelong poise, determination, and grace.
As the 2025 Jack and Jill Queen, Grace Brown continues to exemplify excellence, leadership, and grace. The Alexandria community celebrates her accomplishments and looks forward to witnessing her continued success in the future.
