ALEXANDRIA, La. (2/11/2025) – The England Drive shooting suspect was captured in Pineville during an overnight Rapides Parish Sheriff’s Office (RPSO) SWAT operation.
Authorities arrested 23-year-old Ronnie Joseph Clovis in the 2200 block of Shreveport Highway without incident.
Clovis was booked into the Rapides Parish Detention Center on charges of armed robbery, criminal conspiracy, attempted second-degree murder, and a parole violation. His bond is set at $800,000.
Also arrested was 24-year-old Mya Michelle Hayes of Pineville. She faces charges of accessory after the fact and an outstanding warrant from Claiborne Parish. Hayes remains in custody on a $10,000 bond.
The victim of the England Drive shooting remains hospitalized, though their condition is unknown. Detectives continue to investigate and expect more arrests.
