Queen Bees/Seasoned Saints Announce School Uniform Drive and Weekly Clothing Closet

Alexandria, LA (6/1/2024) – The Queen Bees/Seasoned Saints organization is spearheading a School Uniform Drive for 2024 and continuing their weekly Clothing Closet initiative to support the local community.

School Uniform Drive 2024

From May 27th through June 30th, 2024, the Family of Grace Church will be collecting new and gently used school uniforms and sneakers of all sizes and colors. This drive aims to ensure that all students have access to necessary school attire for the upcoming academic year.

The collection point is located at Family of Grace Church, 4200 S. MacArthur Drive. Community members are encouraged to contribute to this worthy cause by donating uniforms and sneakers they no longer need. The donated items will be distributed to families in need, helping to alleviate the financial burden of purchasing school uniforms.

For more information or to arrange a drop-off, please contact the church office at (318) 443-1400 or reach out to Nita Branch at (318) 613-1119.

This initiative, part of Operation Blessing, offers free clothing to those in need, ensuring that all community members have access to essential attire.

The Clothing Closet provides a variety of clothing items, from everyday wear to special occasion outfits, catering to all ages and sizes. This ongoing effort underscores the organization’s commitment to supporting the community through practical assistance and compassion.
