Arrest Made in Sabine Parish Crash Where a 14-year-old was Killed; Impairment Suspected

Sabine Parish, LA – March 4, 2024 – According to the Sabine Parish Sheriff’s Office, Henry Treyton Ezernack, 33, of Noble, was arrested on March 1, 2024, by the Louisiana State Police (LSP) in connection with a crash that occurred on February 7, 2024, resulting in the death of a Converse juvenile.

Ezernack faces charges of Vehicular Homicide (Felony), First Degree Vehicular Negligent Injuring (Felony), and Careless Operation of a Motor Vehicle (Misdemeanor). LSP has stated that impairment was a factor in their investigation into the crash, where a 1997 Jeep Grand Cherokee driven by Ezernack veered into the southbound lane of Louisiana Highway 191, colliding with a 2005 Dodge Ram.

No bond has been set for Ezernack at this time.

It’s important to note that all individuals mentioned are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law. The investigation into the crash is ongoing.
