Zwolle, LA (9/9/2023 – The Sabine Parish Sheriff’s Office (VPSO) reported two Zwolle men were arrested for suspected sex crimes involving juveniles.
Jerry D. Meshell and Michael G. Meshell were wanted for several sex crimes involving juveniles. Sabine Parish Sheriff Detectives were able to obtain a search warrant for the Meshells’ residence on Henderson Street in Zwolle. Sabine Parish Sheriff S.O.G. was deployed to the residence to execute the warrant. After numerous attempts to call them out of the house, S.O.G. entered and found Jerry Meshell hiding in a room.
Jerry Dewayne Meshell, 42, of Zwolle, was arrested on August 22, 2023. Michael Grady Meshell, 38, of Zwolle, was arrested on Thursday, September 7, 2023.
Jerry Meshell was arrested and booked into the Sabine Parish Detention Center for:
- 2-counts of First-degree rape of juveniles,
- Second-degree rape of a juvenile,
- First-degree rape of a juvenile,
- Oral sexual battery of juvenile (2 victims under age 13).
- Total Bond set at $2,000,000.00.
Michael Meshell was booked into the Sabine Parish Detention Center for:
- Sexual battery of a juvenile,
- 3-counts of Indecent behavior with juveniles (2-victims under age 13).
- No bond has been set at this time.
