Shreveport: 5 store clerks cited for alcohol sales to minors

Caddo Parish, La. (9/01/2023) – The Caddo Sheriff’s Youth Services Division recently conducted an operation resulting in the arrest of five store clerks for selling alcohol to minors, said Sheriff Steve Prator.

Detectives conducted an Underage Alcohol Purchase Operation on 19 businesses located in the parish. “It is vitally important that all store clerks abide by the law and take responsibility for their actions,” said Sheriff Prator. “We will continue to enforce the law to ensure the safety of our youth by preventing the sale of alcohol to minors.”

The following is a list of five clerks who sold alcohol to an underaged individual and the locations of their businesses.

1. Kaycee Douglas, Express Mart, 7965 Old Mooringsport Road, Shreveport;

2. Crystal Marsh, Longwood General Store, 3502 LA Hwy. 169, Shreveport;

3. Zachary Roberts, The Triangle, 10881 LA Hwy. 1, Mooringsport;

4. Emily Lewis, E-Z Mart, 2801 LA Hwy. 1, Oil City; and

5. Stephanie Sansoucie, Dub’s Texaco, 120 S. Pine Street, Vivian.

All five received a summons for Unlawful Sales to Persons Under 21. Douglas, Roberts, Lewis, and Sansoucie also received a summons for not possessing an ABO card.

The operation was conducted on August 30.
