Natchitoches, LA (8/25/2023) – The Natchitoches Parish Sheriff’s Office (NPSO) reported a fire on Hardimon Road west of Flora.
At 9:17 pm, NPSO Deputies and Natchitoches Parish Fire Protection District #4 responded to NATCOM 911 Center reports of a woods fire on Hardimon Road west of Flora, according to the Natchitoches Parish Sheriff’s Office.
Hardimon Road is off Paige Hill Road.
Deputies and NPFD #4 are currently on scene; however, they have requested assistance from the Louisiana Department of Agriculture and Forestry because of the dense wooded area and difficulty of reaching the fire.
LDAF is responding.
Deputies say at this time, the fire appears to be small.
