PINEVILLE, La. (UrbanCast: 8/12/2026) — Three men face multiple charges following an investigation into a burglary and several reported thefts near Pineville.
The investigation began July 23 after Rapides Parish deputies responded to a burglary in the 100 block of Airport Road. Deputies determined someone had stolen a large amount of property.
Detectives from the Tioga Substation joined the investigation and recovered forensic evidence. That evidence led investigators to the Rigolette area.
Later that day, detectives and patrol deputies were conducting proactive patrols along Hickory Hill Road. They spotted a man and woman riding a green Honda ATV.
Deputies stopped the ATV and identified it as one reportedly stolen about one week earlier. The reported theft occurred in the 3000 block of Rigolette Road.
Investigators detained both riders while they worked to confirm the ATV’s ownership. After speaking with the owner, deputies arrested Ryan Tylor McGlothlin.
The woman was released.
However, the investigation continued. Detectives eventually identified Eric Paul Nichols and Conner Ray Coker as two additional suspects.
Ryan Tylor McGlothlin
Deputies initially arrested McGlothlin, 33, for illegal possession of stolen things valued between $5,000 and $25,000.
As detectives continued investigating, they developed probable cause for additional charges.
Authorities re-arrested McGlothlin on July 24 while he remained jailed.
He now faces five counts of motor vehicle theft involving property valued between $5,000 and $25,000. He also faces another motor vehicle theft charge involving a lower value.
Additionally, McGlothlin faces three firearm theft counts, simple burglary and another theft charge.
His remaining charges include two counts of criminal trespass, criminal conspiracy and criminal damage to property.
Authorities also charged him with possession of a firearm by a convicted felon.
McGlothlin’s bond was set at $326,000. He remained jailed when RPSO released the information.
Eric Paul Nichols
Detectives also identified Eric Paul Nichols, 46, during the investigation and obtained warrants for his arrest.
Nichols turned himself in to sheriff’s detectives on July 27.
Authorities charged him with criminal conspiracy and two counts of illegal possession of stolen firearms.
He also faces four counts of illegal possession of stolen things.
Nichols’ bond was set at $175,000. He was released on bond August 4.
Conner Ray Coker
Detectives also obtained arrest warrants for Conner Ray Coker, 22.
Investigators located Coker on July 27 in the 4400 block of Northup Road in Pineville.
According to RPSO, Coker was taken into custody after a brief standoff involving detectives and the agency’s SWAT team.
Authorities said officers arrested him without further incident.
Coker faces five motor vehicle theft counts involving property valued between $5,000 and $25,000. He faces another motor vehicle theft charge involving a lower value.
Additionally, he faces three firearm theft counts, simple burglary and another theft charge.
His remaining charges include two counts of criminal trespass, criminal conspiracy and criminal damage to property.
Authorities also charged Coker with possession of a firearm by a convicted felon.
Coker’s bond was set at $410,000. He remained jailed when RPSO released the information.
Additionally, authorities placed holds on Coker for active Grant Parish warrants and Louisiana State Probation and Parole.
Most Stolen Property Recovered
Meanwhile, detectives said they recovered most of the stolen property and returned it to the rightful owners.
The Rapides Parish theft investigation remains ongoing.
