Alexandria, LA (9/22/2024) – A woman was injured in a shooting on Rapides Avenue near 12th Street on Saturday, September 21, 2024. The Alexandria Police Department responded to the scene at approximately 6:55 PM.
Witnesses described the victim as a woman in her 30s. Authorities transported her to a local hospital with moderate injuries. The shooting occurred in the 1100 block of Rapides Avenue, close to 12th Street.
