Second Suspect in Jesse Lee Tatum, III Murder Case Turns Himself In

Alexandria, LA (4/18/2024) — Jarvis White, aged 29, of Alexandria, Louisiana, voluntarily surrendered to the Alexandria Police Department (APD) on Tuesday, April 16, 2024, at approximately 3:30 PM. He was subsequently booked into the Rapides Parish Detention Center. White faces charges of Second Degree Murder and Felon in Possession of a Firearm in connection with the March 31, 2024, homicide on Pisciotta Street.

White’s surrender comes after APD released his photo, identifying him as the second individual sought in connection with the case, on April 15, 2024.

His bond has been set at $1,100,000.

Earlier, on Friday, April 12, 2024, authorities in North Carolina apprehended 21-year-old Shaheem White of Alexandria, LA, also linked to the case. Shaheem White is currently awaiting extradition to Louisiana.

The investigation into the murder of Jesse Lee Tatum, III remains ongoing.
