Alexandria, LA (12/24/2024) – The Rapides Parish Sheriff’s Office seeks public help in investigating a vehicle shooting that occurred on Airbase Road on December 22, 2024, at approximately 7 PM.
According to initial reports, a 2019 silver Ford F150 was traveling toward LA-1 when the occupants heard a loud impact. Upon pulling over, they discovered what appeared to be shotgun pellet marks on the passenger-side back door and the truck bed.
Sheriff’s deputies responded to the scene, and no injuries were reported. A search of the area was conducted, but deputies were unable to locate evidence or suspects at that time.
Detectives are asking anyone who heard gunshots around 7 PM or shortly after, or who has information about this incident, to contact RPSO at 318-473-6700.
