Paige and Piper’s Lemonade Stand Raises $12,000 for Cancer Patients

Alexandria, LA (10/15/2024) – In an amazing display of community spirit and generosity, Paige and Piper, two Caroline Dormon Junior High students, have raised an incredible $12,000 with their lemonade stand to support cancer patients and provide supplies to CHRISTUS St. Frances Cabrini Hospital.

Their hard work has made a meaningful impact, and they exemplify the vision of our school system: engaging our community, empowering individuals, and maximizing potential.

Paige and Piper began their lemonade stand with a simple goal: to help those battling cancer and give back to their community. Over the course of the past four years, they served countless cups of lemonade, each one served with the intent to uplift and give hope to those who need it.

Their generous donation to CHRISTUS St. Frances Cabrini Hospital will be used to purchase equipment and supplies, helping to improve the care and treatment for many in our community.

“These amazing fundraising efforts provide funding for new equipment for women’s breast care, a fund for gas cards to allow for patient transportation, as well as nutritional supplements for the patients,” said Monte Wilson, CEO of CHRISTUS St. Frances Cabrini Hospital.

“Witnessing our daughters being inspired and empowered motivates them to achieve more and become mission-minded servants,” said Lacie LaCaze, Paige and Piper’s mother. “As a mom, I’m grateful to see others mentor our children, raising up the next generation to accomplish mighty things.”

“Paige and Piper inspire all of us to do more: to keep working for a brighter tomorrow and making our community better,” said Superintendent Jeff Powell. “Their dedication reminds us all of the difference we can make, no matter our age.”
