Deridder, La. (UrbanCast: 6/22/2026) – Sheriff Mark Herford announced the felony arrests made by the Beauregard Parish Sheriff’s Office for the week of June 15–21, 2026.
On June 15, deputies arrested Douglas LaFleur. He faces charges of simple battery, simple battery of the infirm, resisting a police officer with force or violence, and battery of a police officer. LaFleur was booked into the BPSO jail. Bond is to be set.
On June 16, Cedrick Achane was arrested and charged with possession of a controlled dangerous substance, Schedule II. Achane was booked into the BPSO jail. Bond was set at $50,000.
On June 17, Thomas Gilles was arrested and charged with possession of a controlled dangerous substance, Schedule II, and contraband relative to penal institutions. Gilles was booked into the BPSO jail. Bond is to be set.
All persons are presumed innocent unless proven guilty in a court of law.
