Baton Rouge, LA (7/22/2024) – BRPD and BRFD are working a major traffic crash involving a semi truck. The crash occurred around 8:27 am this morning, east of the Mississippi River Bridge, I-10 just past the Highland Rd exit ramp.
The driver of the semi lost control and crashed into the guard rail. Sadly, the driver of the semi truck died at the scene.
One lane of travel is currently open for motorists. Please drive safely and expect delays.
