Alexandria, LA – (9/4/2024) – The Alexandria Police Department responded to a call on Tuesday, September 3, 2024, at approximately 11:11 PM. Officers were dispatched to the 2600 block of Overton Street in reference to an unresponsive individual.
Upon arrival, officers discovered 36-year-old Samuel Henderson Jr. of Alexandria, LA, who had died from an apparent gunshot wound. The Alexandria Police Department is treating the case as a homicide. However, the department has not provided further details regarding a possible motive.
