Alexandria, LA (1/13/2024) – The Alexandria Police Department (APD) responded to shooting on England Drive.
On Friday, January 12, 2024, at around 3:12 PM, the Alexandria Police Department responded to the 1600 block of England Drive following reports of an individual shot. The victim was transported to a local hospital for necessary medical attention.
Later that same day, at approximately 5:30 PM, the APD arrested 52-year-old Travis Peter of Alexandria, Louisiana. Peter faces one count of attempted second-degree murder in connection with the shoot in on England Drive.
APD is actively seeking any information that could assist in shedding light on the case.
