St. Martinville, LA (3/24/2023) – The Stl Martinville Police Department reported a 19-year-old was shot and killed on Thursday, March 23, 2023 M,arch 23rd around 5:35 PM.
SMPD Officers responded to a shooting on North Martin Luther King Dr at a residence located at the corner of Porter St. Upon arrival officers located two males shot multiple times inside a vehicle.
One of the males, identified as Christopher Jones, 19, was deceased at the time of arrival. The second person was transported to a local hospital in critical condition.
