Bay St. Louis, MS (12/15/2022) – A Mississippi Veterinarian is identified as the suspect in the Bay St. Louis shooting that killed two officers.
Amy Brogdon Anderson, of Ocean Springs, Mississippi, has been identified as the deceased suspect in a Wednesday, December 14, 2022, Bay St. Louis shooting that left two police officers dead.
Bay St. Louis Police Department Officer Branden Estorffe, 23, and Officer Steven Robin, 34, were fatally shot during a welfare check at a Motel 6 in Bay St. Louis, Mississippi, early Wednesday morning.
Anderson then reportedly turned the gun on herself, dying of a gunshot wound to the chest.
Officer Robin was pronounced dead of gunshot injuries at the scene, and Officer Estorffe succumbed to his injuries a short time later.
According to Facebook, Anderson worked as a Veterinarian.
