New Orleans, La. (11/26/2022) – The NOPD is investigating a fatal shooting in the Eighth District (Julia Street) on November 25, 2022.
NOPD was notified of a shooting in the 300 block of Julia Street. Upon arrival, officers located a 26-year-old black male victim lying on the street, suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. The victim was pronounced deceased at the scene by EMS.
No further information is available at this time.
The Orleans Parish Coroner’s Office will determine the official cause of death and release the victim’s name upon completing the autopsy and notification of the family.
