ALEXANDRIA, La. (UrbanCast: 10/10/2026) — UrbanCast and involvedinitall.com welcome Alexandria City Marshal Jerome Hopewell as a campaign advertiser for the 2026 election season.
We thank Hopewell and his campaign for choosing our platforms to connect with voters throughout Central Louisiana.
Hopewell, who is seeking reelection, recently joined UrbanCast’s Let’s Talk to discuss his experience, leadership and priorities for the marshal’s office.
During the interview, Hopewell said his law enforcement career began in 1994. He has served as Alexandria City Marshal since May 2018.
He initially completed the remaining two years of his predecessor’s term before serving a full six-year term.
Hopewell discussed court operations, financial challenges and his approach to serving residents who interact with the marshal’s office.
He also addressed resolving certain court-related matters without unnecessary incarceration. Hopewell explained that court-approved payment arrangements can sometimes help individuals address outstanding obligations.
Additionally, he discussed community engagement and helping young people better understand interactions with law enforcement.

As the election approaches, Hopewell’s campaign will use UrbanCast and involvedinitall.com to share its message with voters.
We appreciate his campaign’s investment in locally operated media and its support of community-focused programming.
UrbanCast does not endorse political candidates. Paid advertising does not influence our reporting, interviews or editorial decisions.
Our commitment remains unchanged: providing candidates opportunities to explain their positions while allowing voters to reach their own conclusions.
We provide the platform. The candidate makes the case. You decide.
