Vernon Parish Sheriff’s Office Reports Multiple Arrests June 12-13

VERNON PARISH, La. (UrbanCast: 6/15/2026) and — Sheriff Sam Craft announced several recent arrests made by the Vernon Parish Sheriff’s Office between June 12 and June 13.

On June 12, deputies arrested Diondre Watts, 37, of Leesville. Authorities charged Watts with one count of Failure to Register as a Sex Offender. Bond was set at $20,000. Watts remains in the Vernon Parish Sheriff’s Office jail.

Also on June 12, deputies arrested Chasity Hudson, 38, of New Llano. Hudson was taken into custody on an out-of-jurisdiction bench warrant from Sabine Parish. Bond has not been set. She remains in the VPSO jail awaiting transfer to Sabine Parish authorities.

June 13

On June 13, deputies arrested Kenneth Boswell, 30, of Anacoco. Authorities charged Boswell with Criminal Damage to Property, Disturbing the Peace by Violent and Tumultuous Manner, Criminal Trespass, and Careless Operation. Bond was set at $4,142. Boswell later posted bond and was released.

Deputies also arrested Justin Martin, 17, of Leesville. Authorities charged Martin with two counts of Simple Burglary, one count of Attempted Theft, and one count of Theft of a Firearm. Bond has not been set. Martin remains in the VPSO jail.

In a separate June 13 arrest, deputies arrested Charles Smith, 50, of Alexandria. Authorities charged Smith with multiple drug-related offenses. Charges include Possession of a Schedule II Narcotic, Possession of a Schedule II Narcotic with Intent to Distribute, Possession of Marijuana, Possession of Marijuana with Intent to Distribute, Possession of MDMA, Possession of a Schedule I Narcotic with Intent to Distribute, Possession of a Schedule I Narcotic, and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. Bond has not been set. Smith remains in the VPSO jail.

Additionally, deputies arrested Amy Annette Crump, 41, of Leesville. Authorities charged Crump with one count of Possession of a Schedule I Narcotic. Bond was set at $1,561. Crump later posted bond and was released.

The Vernon Parish Sheriff’s Office continues to process these cases through the court system. All persons arrested are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
