Bunkie, La. (4/7/2026) – Bunkie police are searching for a suspect after a stabbing Monday night at the Augustine Apartment Complex.
Officers were called around 7:33 p.m. to a fight in progress at 702 East Church Street. When they arrived, they found a man with a stab wound to his leg.
Bunkie Fire & Rescue and Acadian Ambulance treated the victim at the scene. He was taken to a local hospital. Police say he is in stable condition.
Investigators identified Ladrakus Goudeau as the suspect. An arrest warrant has been issued.
Goudeau has not been located. Police are asking for help finding him.
