Alexandria, LA (11/14/2025) RADE Agents arrested an Alexandria man after a weeks-long narcotics investigation. Agents say they received several anonymous tips claiming McKenzy Celestine received suspicious out-of-state packages delivered to his apartment or his neighbor’s doorstep.
Investigators confirmed the complaints through surveillance and other investigative methods. Then, Agents obtained a narcotic search warrant for Celestine’s residence in Alexandria.
On November 7, 2025, RADE Agents observed a shipping company deliver a package to a nearby apartment. Moments later, Celestine allegedly left his residence, retrieved the package from the neighbor’s door, and brought it into his home.
A search warrant team made contact with Celestine and cleared the apartment. Agents also found a juvenile female inside the residence.
During the search, Agents located the newly delivered package opened in Celestine’s presence. Inside, Agents found 10 pounds of high-grade marijuana.
Furthermore, Agents seized 2 additional pounds of marijuana, 4.2 ounces of psilocybin mushrooms, 7 pounds of THC vape pens, an AR-style rifle, paraphernalia including scales and a vacuum sealer, and over $9,000 in U.S. currency.
Agents arrested Celestine and booked him into the Rapides Parish Detention Center. He faces felony counts including possession of CDS I with intent to distribute, possession of a firearm by a convicted felon, illegal carrying of a firearm with drugs, possession of drug paraphernalia, and transactions involving drug proceeds.
Celestine received a Civil Asset Forfeiture Form for the seized cash. The juvenile was released to a family member.
RADE Agents confirmed the neighbors were not involved in the alleged trafficking activity. Celestine remains jailed on a $410,500 bond. Officials say the investigation continues and more arrests are possible.
The RADE Unit includes multiple Central Louisiana agencies and federal partners. The team continues targeting suspected narcotics traffickers across the region. Citizens may report drug activity by messaging the RADE Facebook page at https://www.facebook.com/RADEunit/.
